After the collision between the cars of "Team Nounours" and of "the Gobelins", we thought this stage towards the norvegian coast would be quieter.. error..
After the first checkpoint of the day close to a pond infested with mosquitoes, "La pau du Lyon" swerve into the ditch of a long straight road.
Luckily, Simone and Henry, the members of the crew are not injured. Cedric and Alexandra from the organization team arrive first on the place of the accident and help them to repair the left front wheel of the Suzuki Vitara. But the brake system is also damaged the team will have to spend the night in Kiruna to have the car repaired.
100 km further, it's the turn of the Renault Express of Jerry and Cam to encounter mechanical problems and compell
them to call their insurance assistance service and to stop in Kiruna for the night too! Finally, it's the "Felines" who
collide with a norvegian car . No one is harmed, the "Felines' Fiat Doblo has only some scratches but the other car is in a ratner pityful estate..
We finally reach the charming village of Foldvik on the edge of the lake Herjangsfjorden at he end of the day.
We are warmly welcome by the representatives of the municipality and the owner of the " Brygger "
restaurant which has prepared a delicious buffet offered by the city. After the dinner some raiders go sailing and
fishing on board on a long ship, beautiful replica of a drakkar...
!
